Michael, the son of a musician, started his music education as a little boy. (He played the trumpet in the school band) His family moved to L.A. and he started playing bass with groups from school. Then one lucky day he found Eddie, Alex, and David Lee Roth, and what do you know, they needed a bass player and well there ya go. Michael is married to Susan Anthony.
